Sealing Fabric

As sealing fabric, we typically use single- or double-mounted vira sheets, and in some cases rubber fabric.

Vira Sheet is woven from plastic threads made of PED plastic. These fabrics were originally developed for paper manufacturing but also work well as sealing fabrics in lumber kilns, provided the sealing distance is not too large.

We supply vira sheet on rolls or in custom dimensions.
For best quality, we recommend ordering custom-sized fabrics, as factory-cut edges are heat-sealed and the threads are fused together. It is also possible to buy the fabric on rolls and cut it on-site, but this may cause some threads to fray.
