Wheels and Axles

We stock many of the cart wheels originally supplied by WSAB and also manufacture them ourselves. Our workshop can machine wheels up to approximately 300 mm in diameter.

Single-flanged wheels are machined from material with a hardness of at least 275 HB (Brinell Hardness), making them suitable for high-load applications. Double-flanged and flat wheels are made from steel with a minimum hardness of 200 HB, which is ideal for this type of wheel. We use deep groove ball bearings with rubber seals, suitable grease, and clearance optimized for lumber kiln conditions.

Upon delivery, wheels are sprayed or brush-coated with rust protection oil. We also stock and manufacture most axles and axle washers ourselves.
