We also offer an indicator system to confirm that pressure frames are lifted. This is crucial in channel/walking kilns to prevent movement of lumber when frames are not raised. Additionally, we provide a locking mechanism to secure a pressure frame in the lifted position, allowing safe replacement or repair of leaking pneumatic cylinders.
Pneumatic systems eventually develop leaks. We prefer to manufacture pressure frames in aluminium, as it performs well inside kilns and offers slightly more flexible welds than stainless steel. Weight-wise, aluminium is roughly equivalent due to its lower strength and density compared to stainless steel. Depending on material prices, we can easily choose the most cost-effective option. We also supply all necessary accessories for pressure frames, such as pressure frame fabric, cylinders, extension rods, and compressors.
