Mechanical Switches

Mechanical sensors respond to physical contact or movement. They typically function as switches activated when a moving part presses, pushes, or changes position. A common type is the limit switch.

When an object touches or presses the sensor, a mechanical contact (e.g., button, arm, or roller) is triggered, sending an electrical signal to the control system.
