Door Reinforcement

Damage often occurs over time to the bottom edge of doors, while the rest of the door panel remains in good condition. This is most common in chamber kilns and is mainly caused by forklifts.

Some damage can be resolved with a taller bottom door cover. In some cases, a portion of the bottom door panel can be cut off and replaced with a taller cover that includes reinforcement. If doors become too weak when fans and motors are replaced, we can likely assist with reinforcement.

We also offer corner reinforcements that can be easily mounted on the doors. Common sizes are 80 and 100 mm.
