Magnetic Sensors

Magnetic sensors (also called magnet sensors) detect changes in a magnetic field. They are used to detect position, speed, movement, or presence of magnetic objects—often without physical contact.

Magnetic sensors respond to the presence or change of a magnetic field, typically from a permanent magnet or ferromagnetic part. When a magnetic field is detected, the sensor changes its electrical signal, which is sent to the control system.

Magnetic sensors are popular for their durability, robustness, and ability to function well in dirty and humid environments.
