Frame Reinforcement

For a kiln door to seal properly against the frame, the kiln’s frame must be in good condition—vertical and flat. Damage to frames is common over time.

We can supply new frames made of bent stainless steel sheet, mounted over the existing frames. We avoid joints in the frames and can deliver lengths up to 13.5 meters, although sheets longer than 10 meters can be difficult to source.

We also offer such frames when the existing ones are not vertical and flat. In these cases, a more extensive solution is required, where gaps between the frame and the building must be filled with mortar, and the adhesion of the mortar must also be considered.
