Electric Motors

At a sawmill, many different electric motors are used for a wide range of applications.

For lumber kilns, electric motors are used for trolley transport systems and for circulation and exhaust fans.

Energy efficiency regulations, IE3, apply to vertical lift door machinery, pumps, package feed systems, and electric control of pressure frames. As of July 1, 2021, the IE3 regulations also apply to motors used in lumber dryers.
