Psychrometer Setup

A psychrometer setup is typically wall-mounted in chamber kilns. Often called a “birdbath,” it consists of a tray that is regularly filled with water.

Above the tray, one or two thermometers are mounted.
A psychrometer cloth is clipped to one thermometer using a wooden clothespin with stainless spring. The cloth continuously absorbs water from the tray, allowing the thermometer to measure wet temperature.

A protective roof is available for our model to shield against splashes during steaming.
