Kiln Paint

With support from Jotun’s technical experts, we’ve selected a paint that works excellently for interior kiln surfaces. It adheres well to both concrete and metal.

For best results, sandblasting the interior is recommended, but simpler methods may suffice. Loose paint must be scraped off. To ensure compatibility, test the new paint on a small area to check that the old layer doesn’t lift. In most cases, it’s fine to paint over existing surfaces.

The selected paint is best applied with a high-pressure spray, but rolling is also possible.
