Inductive Sensors

Inductive sensors detect metal objects without physical contact. They respond to changes in an electromagnetic field and are widely used in industrial automation, machine control, and position detection.

Inductive sensors generate a high-frequency electromagnetic field at the sensor front. When a metallic object (typically iron, steel, or aluminium) approaches, the field is disturbed and the sensor sends an electrical signal to the control system.
