Wet Temperature Measurement

The best method for measuring wet temperature is using a wet sensor drum.

One model is mounted in the attic above the kiln’s machinery level, and another simpler version is installed inside the kiln environment. Both models can measure dry and wet temperatures. The attic-mounted model is installed above the coils and fans.

We offer variants for channel kilns and chamber kilns.
In channel kilns, dry temperature can also be measured with this model, installed above fans and coils.
Airflow runs in the opposite direction to the airflow inside the kiln, utilizing negative pressure before the fans and positive pressure after the coils.
To measure wet temperature, a psychrometer cloth is placed over the thermometer, partially submerged in a water bath.

The simpler version is called a psychrometer setup and is shown separately.

We specialize in products for wood dryers. Our experience with dryers dates back to the early 1970s, when our parent company, Nibro AB, started its business by assembling wood dryers.
